The cover simply snaps over the ecu onto the box that holds the ecu. Without this cover dirt and moisture can easily get into the ecu box and possibly damage it. This is a good used cover we took off a MINI we parted out so it is dirty and may have scratches on it. Sold as individual cover as seen in pictures.
